Privacy Policy

Effective September 23, 2026

VibeCrawl is an invite-only restaurant memory and recommendation service. Authorized users sign in with Google and approve access. A separate email-and-password account is maintained for app review; access remains limited to authorized accounts.

Information we process

We process your email address and, when you use Google sign-in, basic Google profile information. Supabase handles authentication credentials. We also process restaurant visits, ratings, dishes, notes, taste preferences, recommendation candidates, limited decision feedback, and dining-group membership that you choose to provide through ChatGPT, Codex, or VibeCrawl.

How we use and share information

We use this information to remember your dining history and personalize restaurant recommendations. Your private visits and raw notes are not shared with another user unless a feature explicitly says so and you choose to share them. Group recommendations use only authorized, opted-in preference signals. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

VibeCrawl relies on Google for Google sign-in, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Vercel for the website, and OpenAI products when you invoke VibeCrawl from ChatGPT or Codex. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

We retain your information until you ask us to delete it or the beta service is closed. To request access, correction, export, or deletion, email vibecrawl@proton.me.

Location

A location you provide may be used transiently to find nearby restaurants. VibeCrawl does not currently collect passive location history, and exact recommendation-search locations are not retained in recommendation sessions.
